The ASHP and PV site survey without a second app. Every room's volume comes from the scan, the fabric and U-values per part, windows and doors already on the plan, radiators measured on the camera — every input your MCS heat-loss calculation needs. Roof pitch, orientation and shading for the PV design. One visit, both surveys.

The room size comes from the scan. You confirm the fabric and glazing; the inputs your MCS calculation needs are ready. Illustrative steady-state figures — the real calculation stays in your heat-loss tool.
Fabric U-values are typical published figures; air change 0.5/h. Your MCS tool does the full BS EN 12831 calculation from the same inputs.
Room dimensions, ceiling heights and volumes from the scan. You confirm the fabric per part of the building; the U-values and age band follow. The radiators are measured on the camera with a photo each.

Footprint and orientation from the scan, north from the phone's compass, and the roof screens take pitch, areas and obstructions. Hand the installer a design survey instead of a sketch.

When a heat-pump or solar job is marked done, Inkaroom plants a tree through Tree-Nation — numbered, with a certificate, on your company's page. Clients see it on the completion email.

Heat pump & solar runs on Surveyor or Pro — it needs the fabric survey. Founding accounts get it free for 3 months. Prices include VAT.

Why not on its own? The heat-pump survey is the fabric survey — walls, windows, U-values — which is what Surveyor gives you. All plans →
No. It's the site survey an MCS calculation needs — volumes, fabric, radiators, windows — exported for your heat-loss tool. Inkaroom is a survey tool, not a design accreditation.
Does the solar survey do the PV design? No. It gives the designer footprint, orientation, pitch, usable areas and obstructions; the string design stays in your PV software.
Can an air-con installer add this? Not on the Air-con plan — it needs the fabric survey. Upgrade to Surveyor and the module comes with it.
Which heat-loss tools can I export to?The survey exports as a CSV of rooms, volumes, fabric and radiators that you paste or import into your usual MCS heat-loss calculator. Inkaroom does not replace the calculator.
Which iPhone do I need?An iPhone Pro or Pro Max from the 12 Pro onwards, or an iPad Pro with LiDAR. Standard iPhones don't have the scanner.
What does it cost? The module is included free for 3 months on founding Surveyor and Pro accounts, then £14.99 a month on Surveyor; always included on Pro. Prices include VAT.
